Home Azukari

Privacy

Azukari is an app lock for a group. In a friends group, each person picks apps on their own iPhone and chooses who holds the key. In a family group, a parent chooses the apps on a kid’s iPhone and locks that phone from theirs. Kids do not pick those apps or a schedule. The key is a 6-digit number.

The pairing service has no accounts.

These marketing pages load the Whop Pixel and the X website tag for ad attribution when you visit, including when you arrive from ads. Each records a page view and may set a cookie. The pages also load PostHog to record which page you opened, when you tap an App Store button, and the campaign parameters and referring page on that visit. The App Store redirect at /get sends the same page view and a redirect event from the server, because that address does not render a page. PostHog may set a cookie so a later page on azukari.app can be tied to the same visit. The pages do not load the Facebook SDK or a Meta Pixel. The app uses PostHog, RevenueCat, Kochava, Meta, and TikTok as described below.

What we store

We ask for a display name so friends can recognize you. We do not ask for your email, phone number, or Apple ID. We do not sell data. The pairing service does not use cookies. The marketing pages can, through the Whop Pixel, the X website tag, and PostHog.

When you tap Download on an invite page, we keep that invite for up to one hour under a one-way hash of your network address. When Azukari first opens on the same network, it asks for the invite once, so you can join without typing the code. The entry is deleted when it is read or after the hour.

What stays on the phone

Your Screen Time app selections stay on your iPhone and in its shared app group, so the background monitor can enforce your choices. The group service stores your lock and break deadlines, focus schedule and time zone, whether a lock covers every app, a lock streak (days in a row, the last day counted, and your best run), minutes locked per day for the last 35 days, whether you only hold keys in a group, unlock requests, and remaining emergency unlocks. Group members can see your streak, your total minutes locked in the last 7 days, and the group streak. Your day-by-day minutes are shown only to you. The home-screen widget reads your lock status and your group members’ names and lock status from your iPhone only. If you allow notifications, we store your Apple push notification device token to deliver unlock requests.

While locked, Azukari uses Apple Family Controls and Managed Settings to shield the apps you selected until your key holder unlocks you or your key is entered. Manual locks end when your key holder unlocks you, or at the time you picked for a timed lock. If you enable a daily focus window, its scheduled lock ends at your chosen end time. After your verified subscription period expires, reopen Azukari online to verify renewal before future windows can start.

App services

RevenueCat processes subscription status and purchase information with Apple. The group service verifies Pro using a private membership-derived purchase identifier and stores the verified subscription deadline. The app uses PostHog for product events, including onboarding, purchases, and locks, associated with an installation identifier. Purchase and trial events include the store environment, product id, and price, so a sandbox or App Review purchase can be told from an App Store sale. We do not send your selected app list with those events. To see which ads bring people to Azukari, Kochava, Meta, and TikTok receive the install. Meta and TikTok also receive app opens and App Store production purchases (price, currency, product id, and store transaction id). Sandbox, TestFlight, and App Review purchases are not sent to them as revenue. Allowing tracking only adds Apple’s advertising identifier. Your selected app list is not part of that measurement.
